Mission Mortgage, a well-established and expanding regional mortgage banker, is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Individual would be required to communicate and resolve questions and issues, assisting Originators, Processors, and Underwriting and other departments as needed.
The ideal candidate would be familiar with Optimal Blue Product Pricing Engine and Mortgage Builder/Architect Connect Loan Origination System. Not required.
Skills and Requirements
- People, Math, Time Management and attention to detail.
- Good analytical skills with a good background and understanding of the mortgage business and at least a basic understanding and knowledge of a secondary market department functions
- Experience working with internal and external cross functional teams.
- Computer proficiency with Excel, Word and Access. Function with Power Point.
- Must possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to work in a fast paced, high level environment. Must be able to determine priorities, and make decisive quick decisions to eliminate and reduce the risk exposure to Mission Mortgage

- Processing Conventional, FHA & VA loans.
- Ideal candidate must have knowledge of loan products and investor compliance standards.
- Prefer 3-5 years processing experience in the mortgage industry.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills as well as DU & LP experience required.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Review, verify, update, log and process loan applications
- Prepare disclosures and notices
- Present application packages to underwriting for consideration
- Respond to internal customer inquiries
- Order required verifications and subsequent follow ups
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be a self directed professional.
- A minimum of four years of experience in Conventional, FHA and VA processing.
- Experienced using DU and LP.
- Familiar with Mortgage Builder loan origination software and Microsoft Office.

The Senior Loan Officer’s primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service to clients and referral partners by offering mortgage-based solutions. They are responsible for managing and setting expectations for each and every client in their pipeline. They serve as the point-person for each Client and work in partnership to fulfill each request with the Processing, Credit Policy, and Closing Departments.
- A minimum of 3 years mortgage banking experience.
- A demonstrated record of excellence in customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough working knowledge of prequalification principles and practices.
- Understanding of industry underwriting guidelines and pricing models.
- Strong PC proficiency and excellent time management skills.
